The Mishkan (Tabernacle) and Jewish Memory: Carrying the Past into the Future — Text-based learning
This class will examine the Mishkan (Tabernacle) as a vehicle for Jewish memory and explore how we create a sacred community by carrying the past with us into the future. Through close readings of biblical and rabbinic texts, we will consider the Mishkan’s role in shaping collective identity and spiritual practice. Together, we will reflect on how its themes resonate in contemporary Jewish life and inform our understanding of sacred space today.
