From Sinai to the Mishkan (Tabernacle): Jewish Models of Resilience when the World is in Turmoil — Text-based learning with Havrutah

We are living through times of great uncertainty, where the things that used to give us a sense of security are suddenly called into question. In this session, we’ll explore two major paradigms of security: the revelation at Mt. Sinai, and the building of Mishkan. Each of these paradigms has positives and negatives, and each has a lot to teach us about how we can find the strength and resilience to use our own unique voices, and our communal strengths to build a better world, even in times of great turmoil. Join us for some beuatiful texts, lively discussion, and a chance to share your own unique Torah. All sources will be in original and in English translation, and no prior experience with Jewish text is necessary.
