Revelation at Sinai: a calling for authentic self-expression — Text-based learning and meditative singing (voice only)
In the Biblical narrative of Divine revelation—the communal and universal introduction to God at Sinai—the text describes the experience of those present as a “face to face” encounter. What could it mean to look into the face of God? How might that epic experience have shaped the way we understand ourselves and our purpose within the context of community? How could Revelation have impacted our understanding of our individual responsibility to contribute to the collective? Where is there place for the individual in the communal building of the mishkan—our joint effort to create a space for God among us? Join us as we explore a profound mystical teaching and join together to reflect in meditative communal niggun/melody.
