“The Road to Decarbonization: A Tiyul towards Net-Zero” will be an interactive board game for participants to visualize a path towards a net-zero carbon emissions reality. Similar to “The Game of Life”, important decisions will be made along the way, starting with how one’s character travels the road. Informational cards (used by players during the game) will explain to players what their different transportation options are, and the correlating impact that their decision will have on the environment. Along the path of the road, players will come across obstacles (such as a broken HVAC unit), and accomplishments (such as instituting onsite composting). The game will be interactive, educational, solution-oriented, and for players with all levels of decarbonization knowledge.
