Singularity: Embracing the Uniqueness of Each Communal Strand — Meditation and text-based learning

Join Rabbi Marc Margolius of the Institute for Jewish Spirituality for a session on the sacred nature of individual singularity—embracing your unique purpose and essence—through meditation and mindfulness practices rooted in Jewish wisdom that teach us that “there has never been anyone like you in the world.” We will draw on Torah narratives of the Mishkan (Tabernacle), Hasidic teachings about authenticity, and the concept that each person is called to fulfill their particular role without comparison to others. Accessible to all, through meditation, contemplative practice, and text study, this session will invite participants to cultivate deeper self-awareness and surrender the impulse to “compare and despair,” while creating a sanctuary within themselves where the Divine presence can dwell.
