Israeli Dancing for All — Dance (will include recorded music)
The mayim step has met the cha-cha-cha. The yemenite step pairs with the shimmy. Just as our community is built of different individuals from varied backgrounds bringing a multiplicity of gifts to create something sacred and new, so too is Israeli folk dance made up of a contribution from this region and a rhythm from that one and moves from this week and last century. Come join us to be a part of the circle, move, and be moved. Whether you’re graceful, awkward, or somewhere in between, Israeli dance is slow and fast and energetic and graceful and fun…and more meaningful than you might know. No experience necessary: really!
